Events throughout the year:

The Bridge – Saturday Fun Day

The soul purpose and goal behind the Saturday Fun Days and the reason we call it The Bridge, is to bridge the gap between church and community. The church sits in your community and we want you to feel welcome to be here, to have fun, and to learn who our Savior Jesus Christ is.

Outdoor Worship and Picnic

Each year we invite the church and our community to a special outdoor worship service under the pavilion at the former Scott School Park. Worship is at 10 am followed by a covered dish meal. Our children typically perform a skit to round out a wonderful outdoor service for our community.

Blessing of the Book Bags

Each year in August as children get ready to go back to school, our church has a special worship service where we invite administrators from Central Columbia School District to pray for a successful school year for teachers and children. We donate bags and supplies to each school along with a treat for the staff. If you bring your child(ren) and their book bag, we will fill it with school supplies to help get their year started on the right foot!

Chicken n’ Biscuit Dinner

We have an “All-You-Can-Eat” Community Chicken n’ Biscuit dinner near Veteran’s Day in November. We offer FREE dinners to all Veterans who are able to attend in person. Take-out is also available. Come on out and join us for the event and enjoy an evening of great food and fellowship!

Breakfast and Visit with Santa

Every December our church offers a morning with Santa at our church. The children can sit on Santa’s lap and tell him what they would like for Christmas, and each child/family leaves with a special gift from Santa and the congregation. Each family will receive a free picture of their child(ren) with Mr. Claus, and parents are welcome to bring their own camera to take their own pictures as well. A free continental breakfast and crafts will also be available.
